Everything your
team needs
Built from the ground up for university sports โ not a generic tool adapted after the fact.
Availability Heatmap
Athletes mark their schedules, coaches see when the entire team is free โ at a glance. No more back-and-forth.
Team Communication
Built-in messaging keeps everyone on the same page. Real-time chat organized by team.
Smart Scheduling
Create training sessions that work for everyone, based on actual availability data.
Role Management
Separate views for coaches and athletes. Everyone sees exactly what they need, nothing more.
Move beyond group chats
and shared calendars
Nexus replaces the polls, spreadsheets, group chats, and disconnected calendars university teams use to coordinate practice. Coaches see athlete availability before scheduling, athletes get one place for sessions and messages, and directors can manage up to eight teams from a shared department view.
| Team workflow | Group chats & shared calendars | With Nexus |
|---|---|---|
| Coordinating athlete availability | Polls, spreadsheets, and replies buried in group chats | A live availability heatmap for the entire roster |
| Scheduling practices and games | Manual conflict checks followed by more messages | Sessions planned against submitted availability |
| Keeping the team updated | Details split between chats, calendars, and email | Schedules and team communication in one platform |
| Managing an athletic department | Separate tools and calendars for every team | A director console for up to 8 teams |

Loved by teams
everywhere
โNexus completely changed how we coordinate practice times. What used to take days of back-and-forth now takes minutes.โ
Evan Blackmore
โOur whole team uses it, even the players who aren't great with tech. The interface is very intuitive.โ
Jedrek de Guzman
โFinally an app built for university sports. The availability heatmap alone is worth it.โ
Jeremy Cornigal
We needed it.
So we built it.
We lived the problem. Now we're solving it.
Questions, answered
Everything teams and athletic directors ask before rolling out Nexus.
What is Nexus?
Nexus is a scheduling and communication platform built specifically for university sports teams. Coaches and athletes use it to manage availability, book practices and games, run team chat, and keep rosters organized โ all in one app.
Who is Nexus for?
Coaches, athletes, and athletic staff on college and university teams. It works for any team sport โ from NCAA programs to club-level teams โ and scales from a single roster up to a full athletic department.
How does the availability heatmap work?
Athletes submit their weekly availability in seconds. The heatmap updates in real time so coaches can see when the whole team is free at a glance, then book practices against actual availability data instead of guessing.
Which sports does Nexus support?
Nexus is built for team sports and ships with first-class support for basketball, soccer, hockey, and volleyball. The scheduling, chat, and roster tools work for any team sport.
How much does Nexus cost?
The Team plan is $49 CAD/month or $399 CAD/year for one team. The Department plan is $499 CAD/month or $3,999 CAD/year for up to 8 teams. Founding teams can lock in $249 CAD/year, while founding departments can lock in $1999 CAD/year. Founding offers are capped at 10 teams and 3 departments.
Does Nexus offer a free trial?
Yes. Coaches can start a 30-day free trial of the Team plan without an invite. Department plans are set up through a demo, and the limited Founders plans are charged immediately when a founding spot is claimed.
Can I roll Nexus out across my whole athletic department?
Yes. The Department plan covers up to 8 teams under a single director admin console, with a university-wide calendar and directory. For larger rollouts, book a demo to discuss onboarding and custom pricing.
How is Nexus different from a group chat or shared calendar?
Group chats and shared calendars weren't built for the way sports teams actually work โ dozens of conflicting schedules, rotating rosters, and real-time decisions. Nexus combines availability data, scheduling, and team chat in one purpose-built product for university athletics.
